Ben Ede

Primarily a guitarist, Ben and his guitar “Jessie” freelance in Los Angeles, recording for commercials, studio albums, and streaming media, and performing with and opening for all kinds of music artists, including Grammy winners John Legend, Poncho Sanchez, Lady Gaga, Usher, and Oscar Hernandez.

As a banjo player, Ben and his banjo “Linnea” have performed for numerous shows that feature the instrument including Big Fish, Chicago, and Ragtime. He has also played banjo with orchestras featuring music of Early America, and teaches classes on country music and the African instrument diaspora.
