Christopher Fishburne

Chris grew up in NYC, trained at the Dance Theatre of Harlem School, after which, he attended Five Towns College as a vocal jazz major, eventually transferring to The University At Buffalo, as a Musical Theatre major and a dance minor. Upon graduation, he attended the Ailey School on Fellowship going on to dance for a few ballet/contemporary companies as a freelance artist. After spending 2 years in Los Angeles dancing with Lula Washington Dance Theatre, he returned to NYC to play “Paul” in Westchester Broadway Theatre’s production of “Kiss Me, Kate”.

In his time back in New York, Chris was blessed with the amazing opportunity to sing backing vocals on Saturday Night Live, David Letterman, GMA, and the View with UK band Bastille and emerging artist, Sam Smith. Chris also appeared on The Today Show with Finnish artist Isac Elliot before making his way back to LA to play a “Storyteller” in 3-D Theatricals production of “Once on This Island”.

He was last seen on “America’s Got Talent” as a part of the boy band “The Other Direction” playing the character of “Devyn”.

He is very excited about this new opportunity with Up Next Productions!
